Drifting Through Vast Horizons
This project involves planning a luxurious townhouse in a mountainous area. The designer has cleverly utilized the unique geographical advantages to incorporate a large number of floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor courtyards, and balconies. This allows residents to enjoy magnificent mountain views and the natural scenery of the four seasons. The design concept of this project follows the natural philosophy of "the mountain owner is noble, the water owner is rich," integrating the elements of mountains and water into the residence to achieve a perfect combination with the natural landscape. This enables residents to feel the presence of nature at home and truly experience the integration of mountains and water in their daily lives.
The designer used a variety of layered materials to create a rich spatial texture in the selection of building materials. They paired this with soft and delicate lighting effects to establish a noble and elegant living atmosphere. To meet the homeowner's storage needs, the designer carefully planned a diverse range of storage designs. These designs are not only practical and flexible but also add to the functionality of the space.
Upon entering the common area of the villa, guests are greeted by an elegant living space characterized by warm earth tones and opulent materials. The spacious living room features an inviting L-shaped sofa, providing the perfect environment for relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up to an open-air balcony, seamlessly blending the indoor space with the natural surroundings. A special bathtub offers a stunning mountain view, allowing guests to wash away the fatigue of city life in a tranquil setting. The dining area's clever ceiling design creates a soft lighting effect, while the island and large dining table are perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Stepping into the Japanese-style outdoor courtyard, guests will find a peaceful environment surrounded by greenery, offering a serene retreat for relaxation.
The central staircase of the villa is a marvel of design ingenuity. Departing from the conventional use of metal or wooden handrails, the designer opted for sleek, transparent glass, imparting an air of openness to the entire staircase area. The recessed handles on the wall are seamlessly integrated with lighting, not only enhancing the aesthetic appeal but also providing safety during nighttime. Moving into the private bedroom space, one finds a continuation of the design language observed in the public areas. The gentle, curved lines counterbalance the straight lines, evoking a sense of warmth and tranquility, inviting occupants to experience a profound sense of relaxation and belonging.
