Advancing Hospitality: Shanghai International Hospitality Design & Supplies Expo 2026

January 8, 2026

The Shanghai International Hospitality Design & Supplies Expo 2026 will take place from 31 March to 3 April 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Positioned at the intersection of design, technology, and operations, the expo brings together a broad range of stakeholders, including architects, interior designers, hotel operators, developers, and suppliers. Exhibits span multiple categories such as furniture, lighting, textiles, surface materials, bathroom and wellness solutions, service equipment, and integrated design systems tailored for hospitality environments.

The 2026 edition reflects evolving priorities within the hospitality sector, with increased emphasis on sustainability, experiential design, and operational efficiency. Curated exhibition zones and thematic showcases highlight trends including biophilic design approaches, modular and flexible space planning, multi-sensory guest experiences, and technology-enabled environments. These features aim to bridge conceptual design thinking with practical application.

In parallel with the exhibition, a series of industry forums, seminars, and workshops will be held, offering insights into current challenges and future directions shaping hospitality design. Key discussion themes include sustainable material strategies, design responses to changing guest expectations, digital integration in hospitality spaces, and the role of regional identity in global hotel branding.

The expo also functions as a commercial and networking platform, facilitating engagement between designers, specifiers, and manufacturers. Through business matching sessions and industry gatherings, participants are able to explore collaboration opportunities and gain visibility into emerging products and solutions.
