May 16, 2023

The Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) 2023 has attracted more than 325 projects from countries across Asia, including India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The AADA has received attention from architects, designers, and large and small organizations in the industry since its launch in December 2022, with hundreds of projects and works submitted. The awards cover 30 categories across six disciplines, including Architecture Design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture Design Firm, Interior Design Firm, and Firms in Furniture Manufacturing & Retailing.

The most popular categories for submissions are Architectural Design, Resort Design, Hotel Design, and Commercial Interior Design. India, Thailand, and Vietnam have standout submissions in these categories, with India holding the majority in Residential Architecture and many impressive works blending religious and modern technological elements. Thailand stands out in the Commercial Interior Design category, with works such as museums, amusement parks, and automobile showrooms. Vietnam has submitted many architectural works such as resorts, hotels, and offices.

Singapore has also submitted a high number of projects, particularly in Best Landscape Architecture Design and Best Commercial Architecture Design. Many of these projects demonstrate Singapore’s innovative thinking and advanced technology, contributing to improving the quality of life by optimizing health, safety, convenience, and efficiency. The AADA aims to honour creativity and promote progress in the architecture design industry across Asia, with winners to be announced at the Winners’ Night in July 2023 in Singapore. The judging panel of 20 experts specialising in real estate, architecture, and interior design, among other fields, will preside over the judging of the awards between April and June 2023. Submission has closed on 30 April.
