The Architect’s Sugar Architectural Visualization Award Edition #2 is the second competition in a series in which Buildner is calling for submissions from architects and enthusiasts to share some of their favourite work. This competition is one of the Buildner’s silent competitions, in which participants must communicate without the use of any text solely through the use of visuals.
The Competition
Participants can submit any visualisation that they have produced and are proud of. The visualization can portray anything architecturally related and can be previously published work, as long as they hold all the copyrights.
The selected winners will be featured in the upcoming annual edition of Buildner’s digital magazine, in addition to receiving extended media exposure.
Submission Requirements
- Participants are required to upload one (1) A2 landscape-orientated architectural visualization (must not exceed 10MB).
- No video files are accepted.
- All submissions must be uploaded via the architecturecompetitions.com upload panel. Access information and instructions on how to upload the presentation boards will be issued to participants via email immediately after successful registration.
Participants who do not comply with the requirements will be disqualified without refund.
Prizes

Monetary Awards
3 winning proposals, 2 special award recipients and 6 honourable mentions will be selected. Buildner will award a total of EUR5,000 in prize money to competition winners.

Buildner will acknowledge the outstanding performance of all winners with Certificates of Achievement.

Preliminary Registration Deadlines
Early Bird Registration: January 23 – March 23
Advance Registration: March 24 – May 25
Last Minute Registration: May 26 – July 27
It is still possible to participate in this competition after the preliminary deadlines, however, a higher late registration fee will be charged.
Closing date for submission: September 4, 2023 (11:59 p.m. London Time)
Announcement of the winners: October 13, 2023
Eligibility
The competition is open to all.
People who have direct personal or professional relationships with jury panel members or organisers may not participate in this competition.
