Call for Entries: Bauwelt Prize 2023

For the twelfth time the Bauwelt Award “First Works” will be tendered this year. The Bauwelt Award (consisting of 6 awards of EUR5,000 each) applies to all categories of “First Work” – from transformation projects to prototypal constructions, from public housing projects to the sustainable development of public space and temporary interventions.

The Bauwelt Award is awarded together with the corporate group Kingspan and will be presented and exhibited at DAM Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt.

Eligibility 

Eligible to participate are architects, interior designers, urban planners and landscape architects from all over the world, individuals as well as working teams. Qualified for submission is every first work the submitter has realised on his or her own responsibility and which has been completed after 1 January 2018.

Closing Date & Documents

The closing date of the digital submission is 31 December 2022. The submitted work is to be presented on four sheets in A3 landscape format. 

Prize

The award money consists of EUR30,000. For each of the six prizes, EUR5,000 will be awarded to the winner. The jury is entitled to split the sum differently.
