Hotel Design Summit Asia: Future of Hospitality

July 14, 2026

As travellers increasingly seek meaningful and memorable experiences, the role of design in hospitality has expanded far beyond aesthetics. Today, architecture and interiors shape guest experiences, strengthen brand identity, improve operational efficiency and support sustainability. Against this backdrop, Hotel Design Summit Asia (HDSA) has become a leading platform where architects, interior designers, hotel owners, developers and operators gather to explore the future of hospitality design.

Held as part of the Hospitality Asia Event Series, HDSA hosts country-specific conferences across Asia, addressing local market opportunities while examining the global trends shaping the hospitality industry. The event will bring together architects, interior designers, hotel owners, developers and operators across two key Asian markets in 2026. The summit will be held in Manila, Philippines, on 9–10 September 2026, followed by Tokyo, Japan, on 6–7 October 2026, providing a platform to explore the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of hospitality design.

The programme explores a broad range of topics, including sustainable design, material innovation, wellness, smart technologies, placemaking and cultural storytelling, highlighting how thoughtful design can create distinctive and future-ready hospitality environments.

Beyond its conference sessions, HDSA fosters collaboration through curated networking and business matching, connecting designers, developers, hotel operators and suppliers to discuss emerging projects and industry challenges. As one of the key pillars of the Hospitality Asia Event Series, the summit reflects the region’s growing influence on global hospitality while providing a platform for meaningful dialogue and partnerships.

As Asia’s hospitality sector continues to evolve, Hotel Design Summit Asia offers valuable insights into the trends shaping tomorrow’s hotels, demonstrating how innovative design can create authentic guest experiences while delivering lasting commercial and environmental value.
