SLH to Design Shop Fronts of Hong Kong’s Main Stadium

October 23, 2023

Steve Leung Hospitality Ltd. (SLH), a brand under SLD, has announced that it will be designing the shop fronts for the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium. Sited at the former Kai Tak Airport, the Park is the Hong Kong government’s most significant sports infrastructure investment. It is poised to be Hong Kong’s largest, world-class multipurpose sporting complex. The signature 50,000-seat Main Stadium is designed by Populous, a world leader in large-scale sports and entertainment design.

Dubbed the Pearl of the Oriental for its beguiling iridescent façade, the Main Stadium features a state-of-the-art retractable roof and infinity edge design with views south towards Victoria Harbour. SLH works on the shop front design for food kiosks and stadium bars within the Main Stadium. The design concept will reflect the excitement of the venue’s marquee headlining events while allowing for the personalities of the branded shops to shine.

The major facilities of the Park are expected to be completed in phases by the end of 2024. It will support the Government to promote sports in the community, champion elite sports and elevate Hong Kong’s reputation as a destination for significant international sporting events.
