SLD’s founder Steve Leung has received the coveted Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA) Lifetime Achievement Award during the 30th APIDA Award Presentation Ceremony held by HKIDA on 19 October 2022.
HKIDA is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded in 1991, devoted to fostering interior design professionalism and design excellence by actively engaging in research and education.
The HKIDA Lifetime Achievement Award honours individuals who have made lifelong contribution to the interior design industry in Hong Kong, in recognition of their dedication, impact and exceptional achievements in the profession. 2022 marks the 25th anniversary since the establishment of SLD and also Steve’s 65th birthday.
The founder of SLD felt beyond honoured to be awarded this significant recognition, and promised to give back to Hong Kong’s dynamic interior design scene perpetually with his passion and knowledge to nurture the designers of tomorrow, paving ways for more possibilities in the future together with the design industry.
