“DESIGN IS SOMETHING DEAR TO MY HEART & SOUL.” As a designer, Air likes to lend her tasteful touch of opulence to any interior scheme out there. Her signature take on interior design derives from having spent her childhood days in an embrace of natural provincial surroundings. Rich in texture and mindful of the surrounding space, her style is thus high in energy and spirit, with an injection of colors and patterns. This often reflects in her choice of furniture pieces or art pieces sourced for her client’s project. “I am very much into modern, futuristic shifts in design. I still find understated elegance and bold opulent designs alluring, but I never loses connection with the nature. There is this sense of intimacy, comfort and warmth that only natural elements can offer.” Air received a degree in Architecture from Chulalongkorn University, where she was awarded with an array of interior design awards and accolade, including the like of Young Designer Award of Thailand’s Interior Designer Association (2017). She was recently appointed as distinguished committee to the Interior Design Thesis Competition for TIDA Thesis Awards 2021. Air was then promoted to key designer in charge of ultra luxury residential projects. Among the most notable are AP’s most luxurious residential Vittorio Sukhumvit 39 and The Monument Sanampao, The Quattro Thonglor and Keyne Sukhumvit and many projects by top developer. Air also oversaw the projects for other top ultra luxuries residential in Thailand. “SOME PEOPLE WRITE TO TELL A STORY. I LET MY DESIGN DO THE STORY-TELLING.”

The Cosmopolitan Explorer

To create a sense of wonder from the beginning of the journey, the reception area welcomes visitor with high ceiling hall covered on 3 sides with intricate pattern made of interwoven stainless steel and leather on mirror panel inspired by display of sunlight through tunnel of trees. At the end of the glistering tunnel is the tree framed with illuminated onyx stone representing the main concept of the project. The curved build in seat is made of black forest marble inspired by beautiful slap of stone one might use a seat while exploring the nature.

In contrast with the overwhelming visual effects of the reception lounge, the casual area is decorated in more minimalistic style to create a space for relaxation and a feeling of being at home. The wall of the feature staircase is cladded in overlapping layer of black forest marble and stone textured wallpaper inspired by rock formation of a waterfall.

Walking further inside, one will encounter an open meeting area that surprise them with a room made of trees and sunlight. The 3- sided glass wall with the clear acrylic shelf and 2 giant walls of greenery make if feel like being in a terrarium surrounded by nature.
