Neptune: Collections that Seal Modern Country Sophistry

July 17, 2023

Beautiful furniture made to last a hundred years is the design inspiration of Neptune’s collections. Co-founders of Neptune, John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, started out envisioning enduring furniture that will last for 100 years. With this fervour, they set out to craft well-made and sustainable furniture, using natural materials wherever possible for their collections. Pieces display a modern country-house look and feel, ideal for achieving subtle sophistry appealing to discerning homeowners.

Craftsmanship blend tradition with modern engineering to create pieces that evoke timelessness. Attention is paid to the construction of pieces to create visually appealing designs. Curated processes bring out the natural beauty of Neptune’s collections. For instance, each piece showcases natural woodgrains, sealed with an IsoGuard finish devised by Neptune. Joints and internal mechanics are concealed with great care to create a seamless look.

Founded as a garden furniture business more than two decades ago, Neptune has grown its portfolio of offerings to a wide collection of furniture, homeware, lighting, accessories and home design services. Geographically, Neptune is rooted in UK and Europe, with state-of-the-art production houses in Qingdao, northern China.

A modern country style can be interpreted in different ways. Neptune’s collections pack personality to introduce warmth and character, complete with modern home décor staples including textiles and woven pieces to keep the interior feeling fresh and inspired.
