Design Shanghai Postponed to 13-15 October

May 6, 2022

Design Shanghai has been rescheduled to take place on 13-15 October 2022 in response to China’s latest measures and subsequent challenges and restrictions to the event during the current outbreak of Covid 19 in the country.

The decision has been made based on advice and information from China’s government and local authorities and in consultation with partners, venue and team in China and internationally. This is to ensure the safety of all visitors, exhibitors and team, as aligned with the event’s commitment to producing the best possible event for exhibitors, visitors and partners.

Initially scheduled for 9-12 June 2022, the event will be postponed to October. The venue (Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre) will remain the same. Other details will be announced when available. In the meantime, the event organisers will update of any further developments including details and news of programme of content and digital initiatives that will be rolled out over the coming months, initiatives designed to support and generate business opportunities for exhibitors and maintain connections across the design community during these challenging times.
